Coventry City short term contractor Franck Moussa said that his goal has been a long time coming.

Moussa, who thanked the City fans at Hartlepool on Saturday for their support, scored in the 5-0 win at Clarence Road and said to Nick Connoll: "The manager told me I would be starting on Saturday and he told me to make sure I went out and gave a good performance.

"It's definitely pleasing for me to get my first goal because I said when I came to the club that I wanted to bring something extra to the attacking side of the team and the goal has been a long time coming."
