Former Coventry City forward Leon Best has joined Blackburn Rovers.

The side managed by former City coach Steve Kean, has paid more than £3m for Best which according to the Chronicle newspaper in Newcastle is twice more than The Geordies paid City in January 2010 and a fee which will rise if Blackburn are promoted back to the Premier League.

Best has signed a four year deal at Ewood Park.
