Four-match ban for Turner

Coventry City defender Ben Turner has lost his appeal against the red card he was handed in Saturday's defeat against West Brom at the Ricoh Arena. The 19-year-old defender, who was making only his fourth appearance for the Sky Blues, was dismissed for serious foul play after a rash challenge on veteran Albion striker Kevin Phillips. The Football Association decided not to overturn referee Chris Foy's decision to send off the teenager who will now serve a four-match ban. Turner will miss City's last match of the campaign at Burnley as well as the first three games of next season. He was dismissed in his previous taste of first-team football, while on loan with Oldham Athletic in February, when he saw red in the home defeat to Bournemouth.
