Flowers denies Dowie exit

Coventry City number two Tim Flowers has rubbished reports that manager Iain Dowie will quit the club if a proposed takeover collapses.
Dowie arrived at the Ricoh Arena in February around the same time an American consortium was examining the possibility of investing in the Sky Blues.
The Coventry board have kept negotiations under wraps, but Flowers insists the former Crystal Palace and Charlton boss is committed to the Sky Blues whatever happens at boardroom level.
"There is nothing in that at all. Iain loves it here, I love it here and we have enjoyed our brief spell in charge," he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
"We have accomplished mission 'A' which was to stay up and without building it up too much, we want to have a go next season.
"Iain and I are not party to when this deal is going to happen but we are assured that it will happen.
"It would be handy if it was sooner rather than later because we need to get on with it, but we are professionals and we will just have to wait."
