Fletcher quits Sky Blues

Coventry City have been rocked by the news that managing director Paul Fletcher has resigned.

Fletcher's decision comes amid rumours that the Sky Blues may have to enter administration while takeover talks with a number of potential investors continue.

"The board of Coventry City Football Club can today confirm that managing director Paul Fletcher has resigned," read a statement on City's official website.

"The club would like to thank Paul for his dedication and hard work during what has been a difficult time."
