Fisher - City Could Be Heading For Insolvency

Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has said that Coventry City could be heading for insolvency.

Mr Fisher is having more meetings today and on Monday but told the Coventry Telegraph's Les Reid that "It’s a question of how long our lawyers’ patience lasts.

"We’re talking to them already. We talk to our insolvency practitioner. They are deeply concerned for a number of reasons.

"Our auditors are saying that (legal action) needs to be resolved.

"The external pressures that are being brought to bear put us in a very difficult position.

"Normally a football club would be in administration due to internal pressures.. this is not internal, it is external."
