Dowie won't let Best go

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has reiterated his stance on in-demand striker Leon Best, insisting the 21-year-old is not for sale.

Last month Nottingham Forest were linked with the former Southampton forward, who has found the net six times for the Sky Blues this term.

"The situation with Leon and Forest is over and there will be no circumstances where I will loan him out," said Dowie.

"He is very much part of it here and he has set the standard that he must subscribe to.

"I bought Leon for the future and don't want to let him go."
