Coventry boss Iain Dowie hailed the performance of two-goal Michael Mifsud in City's shock 4-1 FA Cup third round victory at
Blackburn Rovers.
Malta international Mifsud took his season's tally to 15 with his first goals in six games, leaving Dowie with a big smile on his face.
He said: "Michael is having a cracking season, but I think he'd be the first to say he's given the platform from his team-mates.
"He's had a little dip in recent weeks, but it's good to see him back on form and the second goal said a lot about him."
Of his side's overall display on a superb afternoon for the Sky Blues, Dowie added: "The FA Cup is the best cup competition in the world.
"To come to a place like this and play a side like Blackburn is magnificent. They were terrific goals and the third goal from Dele Adebola would grace any game."
