Dann injury woe rocks City

Coventry City skipper Scott Dann is set for six weeks on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury.

The 21-year-old centre-back was injured in the 3-1 defeat by Reading, with further examinations revealing a semi-dislocation of the right shoulder, tendon damage and a torn muscle.

Assistant manager Steve Kean told the Evening Telegraph: "Scott was devastated when he heard the news and it's a massive loss to the team.

"You always miss quality players in key areas of the pitch and Scott is certainly that.

"But Ben Turner has been extremely patient and did very well the other night and we've got Marcus Hall as well, so those lads are going to get their opportunity now."
