Dann comeback put on hold

Coventry City captain Jordan Clarke has suffered a setback in his efforts to return to the side for this weekend's FA Cup fifth round clash with Blackburn. The centre-half, who has been out with a shoulder injury, had been expected to gain match fitness with a midweek friendly match against Aston Villa, but he fell ill. Although the sickness is not expected to last until the weekend, a lack of match sharpness could force manager Chris Coleman into a re-think. "It's disappointing that he couldn't play because I don't want to put him back into the first-team fold until he's had 90 minutes in the reserves," Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph.
