Coventry Veterans: Match Report v Burnley

Another game undefeated

Coventry Veterans: Match Report v BurnleyUndefeated! The Vets remain undefeated as Burnley haven't got a vets side and couldnt put up a team!

Ok we didn't actually play again but we didn't lose.Instead we played a mixed 11 aside game with the vets and the younger supporters side.

We now have 26 players. 19 want to play in goal or defence which should make us hard to beat.

We've got 6 over 45s so we can get a five aside game up.   So if you are over 35 & think you can tackle like Keough, save like Murphy, score like Platt or shoot like Sammy...Nows your chance to prove it and join the CCFC supporters veterans side. We will be playing against other supporters clubs around the country.

If there's enough interest we will set up an over 45 side.Although the ability to score 30 goals a season will be a bonus as long as you can tie your own boots up, support Cov and just want a bit of a kick around you are in!

We will have a fixture at Doncaster away either playing as a veterans side or a combined side with the younger lads.

So drop me an email if you are available for any future Cov game home or away.

Everyone will get to play as it's roll on and off subs. We've now got our own sky blue kit kindly provided by the Coventry Telegraph.
