Coventry takeover on track

Coventry City have rubbished reports that a proposed takeover of the club by American investors has fallen through.
Recent stories in the media claimed the buyout of the Championship club led by American investors Sean McDevitt and Philip Harris had broken down, but Sky Blues managing director Paul Fletcher insists nothing could be further from the truth.
"To say that talks must have broken down because there has been no information forthcoming is absolute nonsense," he said.
"This is where we expected to be. Sometime in late May or June we hope to be making a serious announcement and until that time we will continue to remain silent.
"It is not something that just happens overnight, it is a very complicated process.
"We always knew the due diligence process would take a long time.
"It is not like a tennis match where you get a ball-by-ball account of what is happening."
