Coventry born Graham Alexander has been appointed the new manager of Fleetwood Town.

Alexander, had been coaching at Preston North End, where he was head Of Youth Development but has been appointed the successor to Nicky Mellon who was sacked after last Saturday's FA Cup defeat despite steering the Highbury based club to two promotions in three years.
