Coventry City manager Chris Coleman conceded his players had come up against a better side after losing 2-0 to Cardiff City on Wednesday evening.
Speaking after the home defeat, Coleman tipped the Welsh club for automatic promotion.
"They are a very good side - as good as anything in this division," he said.
"They are strong in every department and they will be in the play-offs at least.
"They could close that gap, there are a lot of games to go and nobody likes going to Ninian Park because it is always an intimidating atmosphere."
