Coleman pleased with players

Coventry City boss Chris Coleman is hoping that he will see some of his injured players return to the first-team fold after the international break this weekend. The Sky Blues manager has had to deal with a crippling injury list as his side have struggled in recent times but refuses to use this as an excuse. Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "Yes, injuries have definitely played a large part in some of our results recently but we have to be honest and say that there's also been a dip in form in some of our performances and that has to improve. "We're fortunate in that we may have some faces coming back in the next few days after injury and illness which will be a boost for us because this recent spate of injuries has hit us hard and exposed the small squad we have and the lack of strength that we have in depth."
