Coventry City boss Chris Coleman has identified Clinton Morrison and Freddy Eastwood as the men to fire the Sky Blues to promotion this season.
The former Fulham boss had already made public his admiration for Wolves forward Eastwood, but previous attempts at luring him to the Ricoh Arena were scuppered by contract complications.
Meanwhile Morrison, who recently turned down a new contract with Crystal Palace, allowing him to be signed for free, is attracting the interest of a number of clubs, most notably cash-rich QPR.
"If I said we weren't interested I'd be telling you a lie," Coleman told Sky Sports after being asked about signing Morrison.
"There maybe a conversation there, but there'll be others in for Clinton."
On the Eastwood saga, Coleman added: "We've come very close to signing Freddy, but it's not quite happened.
"I'm not saying it's not going to happen, it may still, but it's gone on for a long time now with Freddy."
