Coventry City boss Chris Coleman admitted Sheffield Wednesday's last-gasp equaliser is Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Hillsborough was a bitter pill to swallow.
Richard Wood scrambled a stoppage time goal to keep Wednesday's hopes of avoiding relegation alive after Coventry sub Zavon Hines had struck in the 83rd minute.
The late loss of two points left the Sky Blues looking over their shoulders in the tightening race to avoid relegation.
"Before the game we would have taken a point, but to concede the way we did is a bitter pill to swallow," said Coleman.
"It is frustrating because we know we could be on 51 points now.
"Our target is 53 points, there are lot of teams down there still in trouble - Southampton, Leicester, Barnsley, Norwich and even Blackpool who are not safe."
