Cody Pleased To Have Opened His Account

Cody McDonald was pleased to have got his Sky Blues goalscoring account opened. 

Speaking to Sky Blue Player about his 58th minute in the 2-1 defeat to Burnley, McDonald said: "It was a great opportunity for me today and I hope I took it well. The manager has shown great faith in me to put me back in the side after the Leeds game. 

"It can be a little bit daunting when you don't get the goals early on when you move to a new club. I found that at Gillingham and Norwich. Hopefully, we can go from this goal and keep going so I notch a few more this season.”
