City Remain Eighth

Tuesday night scores Coventry City remain in eighth place in the Championship after matches in the division tonight. Sheffield United could have gone above City but lost 1-0 at bottom side Peterborough United thanks to a 40th minute Craig Mackail-Smith goal. Cardiff City lost 2-0 at Ipswich, Preston were held 1-1 by Doncaster Rovers but Swansea won 1-0 at Watford. Saturday's opponents Plymouth  Argyle were beaten 2-0 at QPR and other results saw Crystal Palace beaten 1-0 at home by Bristol City and West Brom beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0.
