City Player Hoped To Attend Memorial Game

Memorial Game at Sphinx A Coventry City player, it is hoped will be in attendance, deputising for the unavailable Aidy Boothroyd, at a Memorial Charity Day at Coventry Sphinx FC tomorrow night. The Neil Morris Memorial Charity Day will see two football matches. The first will see a Coventry Pressworks team play for the Neil Morris Cup.Neil worked with us but was sadly killed at work and we have run this event since then and over the last eight years, have raised over £20k for charity. The second game this year is in the memory of Sue Hughes who formed the event some 8 years ago and died suddenly last year aged 37 of a heart attack. The game in memory of Susan will be between her friends & family against Neil's friends & family. There will be a disco raffle & auction in the clubhouse and although we dont charge to come in to the event we ask everyone to buy some tickets, to support the event. Kick Off for the first game is as near to 5 30pm as possible and the second game will follow that. The disco and presentation starts at 7.30pm onwards.if you need any more info please ring me, Robbie Watson on 07868755201.
