City or Villa For Last Rugby World Cup Venue Slot

Ricoh Arena bidding for last slot

According to a report in the Sunday Times, Coventry's Ricoh Arena and Villa Park are battling it out to be the final venue for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The full list of stadiums that will be used will be named later this month but three quarters of them are understood to football stadiums including Leicester City's King Power Stadium which has been chosen ahead of Leicester Tigers Welford Road.

The only Rugby grounds to be used are Twickenham, which will stage the final, and Gloucester's Kingsholme.
