Coventry City boss Micky Adams has put loan star Marton Fulop at the top of his summer shopping list.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has established himself as the Sky Blues' number one since moving to the Ricoh Arena from Tottenham in October and Adams is keen to make the arrangement permanent.
Fulop has rejected the offer of an extended contract with the Premiership club, but still has 12 months left on his existing deal and Tottenham's valuation of the Hungarian could prove to be a sticking point.
"If I could buy Marton Fulop I would do it, what else can I say?" Adams told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
"Our football club are trying to raise money and as yet there has been nothing that has landed on my desk to say there is money, go out and spend it.
"But I know they are working as hard as they possibly can towards some revenue streams to improve the squad, which is good.
"And if Marton Fulop is available at a price that we think is sensible, we would obviously be interested."
Fulop is yet to play a first-team game for Tottenham following his move from MTK Hungaria in 2004, with England shot-stopper Paul Robinson keeping him out of the starting line-up.
