Bluebirds Keogh Bid Confirmed

Cardiff City have confirmed that they have submitted a bid to Coventry City for the services of defender Richard Keogh.

The Welsh side have not said how much they have actually bid but according to The South Wales Echo, the bid is around £800k with City valuing Keogh, who has a year left on his current contract at the Ricoh Arena, at £1m.

Steve Waggot is quoted by the paper as saying: "We are currently in talks with Richard Keogh about an extension to his contract and him remaining at Coventry City.
