Borrowdale blow for Dowie

Coventry City boss Iain Dowie has been rocked by the news that left-back Gary Borrowdale looks set to be out for six weeks after suffering ruptured ankle ligaments.
Borrowdale, who has been an ever-present for the Sky Blues so far this season, was stretchered off after only 26 minutes of Tuesday's 3-0 defeat against Watford.
Dowie told the club's official website "Gary felt his ankle go after a challenge but tried to carry on for five minutes or so before he had to come off."
Unfortunately Borrowdale was not the only injury casualty for Coventry on Tuesday as midfielder Stephen Hughes suffered a depressed fracture of the cheekbone against the Hornets.
Hughes is a doubt for the Sky Blues' weekend clash with Colchester but still might play wearing a specially designed mask to protect his cheekbone, akin to that recently worn by Chelsea and England skipper John Terry.
