Former Coventry City manager Eric Black has left Blackburn Rovers with immediate effect.

Black had been assistant manager to former City coach Steve Kean and Henning Berg.

However, Berg was sacked this morning by the Championship club with  Black, first team coach Iain Brunskill and goalkeeping coach Bobby Mimms all leaving the Ewood Park club after their contracts were terministed.
