Bell Delighted To Be Back

David Bell on his return to City's first team

Coventry City winger David Bell has admitted his delight at being back in the first team fold.

Bell had a fine game for City U21's on Monday in a 3-2 home win over Barnsley and then came on for the last fifteen minutes of City's 2-0 win at AFC Bournemouth last night, helping to win a penalty for the Sky Blues second second goal.

Speaking to the club website, Bell admitted that the last ten months of being out injured had been horrible and said: "There has been plenty of up's and down's where I thought I was clear of injury, but then I got knocked back again.

"It has been terrible and has definitely been the worst ten months of my career and I just hope all that is now behind me.    "I played an Under-21 game on Monday so I was happy with my fitness. I was just on a high, buzzing with adrenaline to be back playing for Coventry."
