Aidy In Hunt For Number Eight

City boss lining up another player Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is in the hunt for his eighth signing of pre-season.Since his appointment, the City boss has brought Gary McSheffrey, Roy O'Donovan and Lee Carsley back to the club and brought in defenders Richard Keogh, Stephen O'Halloran and strikers Lukas Jutkiewicz and Clive Platt.Having failed to land on loan the likes of Manchester United's players Macheda, Cleverley, Welbeck and Mame Biram Diouf, Sunderland's Martyn Waghorn who scored goals aplenty for Leicester last season and Everton's James Vaughan, Boothroyd is hoping to get his eighth player in today ahead of the Sky Blues final pre-season game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
