Centre forward Stern John was born in 1976 in Cane Farm, Trinidad and Tobago. In 1999 he started playing for Nottingham Forests first division for a 1.5million pound fee. After scoring 18 goals in 49 starts John was sold to Birmingham City for 100,000 pounds. One of Sterns best moments at Birmingham was putting tham through to the Playoff Final in 2002 by scoring one of his famous last minute goals.
