Yeovil Town boss Gary Johnson feels his team are ready to take over if the likes of Tranmere Rovers and Doncaster Rovers continue to falter.

Speaking to the Press Association after the Glovers 1-0 win against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena, Johnson said: "The work that they are having to put in at the moment is normal."When I say that they look at me as if to say 'that can't be normal', but it's normal for teams that want to win the league and win promotion."That desire and commitment, they are the two words because we show good skills at times and every now and then you have to throw yourself in front of something and work back. They have really put everything into it."Their work is dragging back the rest of the field. I did say we had to be ready if there were going to be any blips from the teams that are higher up."If you believe that a couple of the teams that are up there are going to stay there, then I think you are wrong. Hopefully we can hang on enough to get closer to the top two, but we have to get in those play-off places first."
