Wright to change at Crewe?
Crewe consider signing former City captain Stephen Wright, who was released by Coventry City during the summer, is being considered by Crewe, the club where he made his professional debut eleven years ago. Wright was signed by Chris Coleman in 2008 from Sunderland and was the Sky Blues captain last season. The 30 year old defender has been without a club since being released by City in the summer break and has been given a lifeline by another former club. Crewe boss Dario Gradi told This is Staffordshire, "We'll see where we are in six or seven games if we need cover at midfield and full back and if we need to replace the forwards from outside then we will try to do so."
