Wood Sent For Scan

Coventry City have sent defender Richard Wood for a scan following him picking up a groin injury in the 2-0 JPT Second Leg victory at Crewe.

Speaking to club website's Nick O'Connoll, City Caretaker Manager Lee Carsley said; "Richard Wood has gone for a scan to try and see how serious his injury and we will know more information tomorrow.

"He is still in contention for the weekend until we know different and knowing Woody if there's any chance that he can play he'll want to take it."

City expect to have Franck Moussa who had a hip injury available and William Edjenguele who had a knock on his ankle, is backing in training and could also make the squad for Saturday's home game with Crewe.
