Wolverhampton Wanderers FC are appealing for information after some Coventry City fans were struck by coins during the 1-1 draw at Wolves on Saturday.
Coin throwing has been as a regular occurance since the Steve Bull Stand was built and as in previous visits to Molineux, City supporters including women and children were again the target.
Wolves have issued a statement saying: “If any fan witnessed any coin throwing they can call us on 01902 687093.
“They are encouraged to call that number and we will make every effort to identify the culprit.”
