Club shop manager on the sale of winter items. Coventry City's club shops have sold over 2,000 winter items as the cold snap gave Coventry another dusting of snow last night.Speaking to the club website, Retail Manager Justin Tose said: "The demand has been phenomenal, especially in the past ten days to a fortnight as the cold snap has really taken hold."The club shop at the Ricoh Arena was very busy before the Middlesbrough game with supporters looking to make sure they were geared up for the match because it was so cold."Some fans didn't realise we had such an extensive range but were delighted to find out we had hats, scarves and gloves to help them wrap up for the match."The popularity has continued since then and we've seen really strong sales across the whole range. The check scarf that Aidy Boothroyd has been wearing on matchdays is popular but the traditional bar scarf is still selling extremely well too."We have put more on order to help deal with Christmas demand and I am also sourcing a snood, which a lot of the Premier League players have been seen wearing."I doubt Aidy will let his players wear them - at least not out on the pitch anyway!"
