Wilson hopes to be fit to face Fleetwood tonight
City's on loan player recovered from concussion Coventry City's teenage striker Callum Wilson, who is currently on loan at Kettering, is hoping to be picked to play in tonight's Football Conference clash against Fleetwood. The 18-year old, was in impressive form in his first game for The Poppies when they played Crawley, but had to be replaced at half time in his second game when he suffered from concussion in Kettering's over Grimsby. He then missed the chance of a third game, the 3-0 win over Eastbourne while he recovered from the knock on the head. Kettering Town manager Marcus Law has been hugely impressed with Wilson, saying the youngster’s enthusiasm has added a spring to the players’ step in training. Wilson finds himself playing in a team with two other former Coventry City players in their ranks as Kettering also have Paul Furlong and Lysedon Christie. Furlong was at City from 1991 until 1992 and played 34 times, scoring four goals. 34 year old Christie was at City from 1995-7, but only played for the club once. Furlong, who is still playing and scoring at the age of 42 came off the bench on Saturday and bagged a brace in the 30- win.
