Westwood Takes South Wales Award For Third Time

Third South Wales Award for Westwood. Coventry City goalkeeper Keiren Westwood received the Coventry City South Wales Supporters Club Player Of The Year for the third consecutive season today. Westwood, admitted to being honoured to receive the award for a third time, beating the likes of Dion Dublin and David Thompson who had won the annual award twice. Coventry City South Wales Supporters Club Secretary Colin Power said that it was unpresidented in the history of the supporters club which was formed in 1993 for a player to win the award three years on the trot.
