Westwood Should Be Fit To Play At Ipswich

Goalkeeper's jaw not broken Coventry City's number one goalkeeper Kieren Westwood, who was forced to leave the Republic of Ireland squad because of injury, will probably be fit to face Ipswich on Saturday.Westwood was hit in the face by a powerful, close range shot during training and it initially feared he may have broken his jaw, but scans have shown that the injury, though painful, is not as serious as first thought.Ironically, Westwood's place in the Ireland team that travels to Slovakia for the latest round in the Euro 2012 qualifying games, will be taken the Brian Murphy of Ipswich, Coventry City's next opponents.
