Westwood is Celtic's priority

Lennon wants to replace Boruc According to The Daily Express, Celtic are making Coventry City's star player Keiren Westwood their number one target this summer. Celtic boss Neil Lennon is said to want to replace his current goal keeper Artur Boruc and Westwood is the man he wants, or failing him  Preston North End goal keeper Andy Lonergan. Celtic are thought to be preparing a bid of around £1.7m for the Irish international goal keeper, who has a year left on his Coventry contract Westwood has consistently been linked with a host of clubs, including Everton, Sunderland, Spurs and Middlesbrough since his move from Carlisle just two years ago. Coventry City chairman Ray Ranson has openly stated that Westwood would not leave the club for free and has offered him an improved contract to keep him at The  Ricoh. Westwood has yet to sign the contract, but both Ranson and manager Boothroyd are confident he will put pen to paper.
