CNS Statement

Covsupport News Services wishes to announce that it will not be supporting Coventry City's current owners SISU Capital Ltd, in their bid to move the Sky Blues to a new venue for ome matches out of Coventry.

We believe that:

Moving City out of Coventry will be the death knell for the club, making it even less attractive for investors,

Moving City out of Coventry will cause untold problems of getting to matches for the vast majority of supporters.

Moving City out of Coventry will greatly hamper the club's ability to retain supporters.

Moving City out of Coventry will affect the hospitality department's abilty to attract supporters to facilities which are not comparable as at the Ricoh Arena.

Moving City out of Coventry will greatly affect advertising revenues,

Moving City out of Coventry will greatly hamper the ability of the manager to attract players

Moving City out of Coventry will greatly affect the playing surface of which ever club has to host City's first team home games, plus the home PDL League and FA Youth Cup matches, the club also has to play. This may led to postponements and more hassles for supporters.

There are no definite plans to move back to Coventry, contrary to Football League regulations,

Building a new stadium in Warwickshire would be contrary to the well being of the local clubs in the Warwickshire area and would probably be met by planning objections.

Arena Coventry Limited do want the Sky Blues at the Ricoh Arena and the door is not bolted.

We have proved over the years that we are more than willing to support the club in many areas and will continue to do so. However, moving Coventry City out of Coventry is something that we will not support.
