We Will Play Worse Than That And Win - Boothroyd

Boothroyd on defeat to Preston Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that City will play a lot worse  than they did against Preston and beat teams. The City manager, who promised on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, that he would make tickets so hard to come by at the Ricoh Arena and Marlon King would be a part of that, told the Press Association:  "Andy Lonergan was superb today, the man of the match. We hit the post, the bar, had them cleared off the line ."We've dominated the whole game but you have to get the fundamentals right and we didn't. I've been involved in a lot of games and I cannot remember a more one-sided game, so you come in and shake your head, but that's how it is. That is football. "When you think you are doing well it kicks you in the teeth and you have to start again. We are just bemused how we haven't won with over 20 shots. "They hung on and credit to them, but over the course of a 46-game season if we perform like that we will win a lot more than we lose. I know for a fact we will play a lot worse than that and win."
