We Were The Better Team - Boothroyd

More from City boss on Hull draw Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd said that he felt that the Sky Blues were the better team for yesterday's 0-0 draw at the KC Stadium.Speaking to the Press Association after the game, Boothroyd said: "I thought we had the better of the first half. We played really well and were the better team. "Hull were a Premier League club not long ago, and they have good players and a good manager. They also have a good home record, so we had to be resolute. It is also nice to get back to a clean sheet. "For all of the play and the furore in the second half I think we cancelled each other out. "We have to look at the big picture. We've taken four points from three games this week. "We're getting better and better as a team and I was pleased to get a clean sheet. "We ran out of steam a bit at the end and gave the ball away a bit cheaply in the second half, but I knew we'd wilt a bit."
