Carsley explaining how City can get out of their slump Coventry City captain Lee Carsley has called for more consistency from the team.City have slumped to mid-table following the Christmas and New Year fixtures which saw just one point from a possible twelve and Carsley said at the club's weekly press conference: "We have got to start being more consistent, believe what we are being shown on the training ground and believe we can get that consistency. It seems recently we have gone away from that and it's important that we return to that, as that is what is needed."It's easy to be down on yourselves following a run like this and in the past we have slipped down the table and ended up in comfortably mid-table or lower in the league."But I am of the belief that this squad has the ability to get ourselves back up there again."
