More from City boss Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd felt that he did not get the performance he wanted from his team but he got the result. City were booed off after a lacklustre first half and it was only a stunning goal from Michael Doyle that sent the City supporters in a 14,432 crowd home happy. "I think it was important we put a performance in, I said that before the game - I wanted a performance, a clean sheet and to win 1-0," said Boothroyd to the Press Association. "It was important to get back to winning ways. "We didn't get a performance, far from it, but we did get the result in the end against a very good team. I think we've played a lot better than that and lost."
