Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that whilst he cannot guarantee the result, he can guarantee the performance.
Speaking about City’s home game against Burnley tomorrow, Thorn who heard a fourteen minute “Andy Thorn Sky Blue Amy” chant from the City supporters at Leeds on Tuesday night, said to Sky Blue Player: "Burnley are a decent side and they can do anything on any given day. We know what to expect from them but it is very important we get rolling now and keep up our performances.
"We need to turn in a good performance for the fans, who have been fantastic this season, and where we can't guarantee a result, we can guarantee the performance. If all the players on Saturday can guarantee that, then I'm sure the results will follow.
"It is important to start well but it is more important to keep that level of performance going for the whole match. We haven't started well in the last two matches, but having said that, we have got a positive result out of the game. That is football for you.
"We need to maintain a consistency in our performances, that includes during the match and if we can do that, we will be fine."
