We Are Up For The Watford Game - Thorn

Players focussed on Watford game says City boss Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that his players are looking to make up for the heartache of the 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace on Tuesday night and are up for Saturday’s game against Watford.  Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It was a difficult evening and some of the younger lads needed reassuring. It's happened to me before and the first time it happens to you it's gut-wrenching but you have to get on with it.  "We've trained this morning and everybody was really at it and that's the reaction you want but when they are so young and they react like that, it's even better.  “We've got faith in these boys and we believe in them. We can see what they can do and it's just getting them there as quickly as possible.    “I know it's going to come and it will turn. There is a good atmosphere about the place and we are still taking it game by game and are fully focussed on Watford on Saturday."
