City boss on win over Scunthorpe Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd said that he was pleased with the Sky Blues 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe United on Saturday."We defended when we had to and we did it resolutely and we managed to score and win both halves," The City boss said to Sky Blue Player."We are pleased with the result because this is not an easy place to come. Scunthorpe are a good team and they are in a false position."I think it will be difficult to take the goal away from Marlon - the lads have said that in the dressing room."We will give it to him. He has had a tough game today because their centre-halves gave him and Clive a good game today."Marlon is going to get better as time goes on. He knows he has the likes of Lukas and Roy O'Donovan keeping him on his toes and that if he drops his standards they will be in."We had to keep our shape to stop Scunthorpe but we managed to do that. I thought Gary's goal was terrific and we managed to grind them down."
