City boss on trip to Watford Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that his Watford career was in the past and he wants to bring some new memories to Coventry City. The City manager, enjoyed a successful spell at Vicarage Road, told Sky Blue Player: "Watford is one of my old clubs and yes I have fond memories of my time there but I'm Coventry City manager now and I want to create some new memories here. "We need to get some games on the board but last Saturday we kept a good clean sheet against a very good team and if we can keep doing the clean sheet thing and score some goals at the same time then I think we have a good chance of being successful this year."Despite what people have said about Watford in the past few weeks about them being candidates for this and that, I know they will be a tough team and they will be difficult to crack."The like to play good football on the counter attack and they are a quick side but we know where they are dangerous so we just have to stay focused on doing our jobs."
