Walsall not saying much on possible groundshare

According to the Coventry Telegraph, Walsall FC are being coy on talk of Coventry City possibly sharing their Bescot Stadium home next season.

Tim Fisher has said that City are looking to play matches next season out of Coventry after 'being locked out of the Ricoh Arena', something strongly denied by Arena Coventry Limited's legal advisor, and Walsall along with Birmingham City and Leicester City have been named as possible venues for 'home' matches.

According to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, The Saddlers for whom there is concern about their pitch being able to host the first team fixtures of two sides without causing a detrimental effect to Walsall FC or its supporters, are being very coy and are reported as only saying on the subject of hosting the Sky Blues: “We have got nothing to say on that at the moment.”
