Villa show interest in Westwood

O'Neill to tempt highly rated international Aston Villa are the latest in a long line of Premiership clubs to be linked with  Coventry City's highly rated and talented Irish international goal keeper Keiren Westwood. Villa manager martin O' Neill has problems with his goal keepers. Number one 'keeper Brad Friedel is 39 and is nearing the end of his career, while the number two ' keeper Brad Guzan is said to want a move away from villa Park so he can have more first team football. he is also thought to be upset he didn't get a start in the Carling Cup final after playing in most of the previous rounds. Tottenham Hotspur tried with a late bid to lure Westwood to London at the end of the January transfer window, but failed. Now Martin O'Neill is set to launch a bid to get the quality goal keeper who will see Westwood an ideal replacement.
