Turner wants more goals

Coventry defender Ben Turner is hopeful his maiden goal for the club will be the first of many. Turner scored a late winner in the 2-1 victory over Derby to cap his man-of-the match performance, which gave Aidy Boothroyd's men their second win of the season. The 22-year-old youngster had earlier headed Paul Green's lobbed effort of the line, however, it was his heroics at the other end that he was keen to emphasise. "I stayed up after a corner but it was a superb ball in from Lee Carsley because it dipped right at the last minute and I got my head to it. I only knew it was in when the net bulged," Turner told the club's official website. "You have days when things do not go right but (on Saturday) they did and you have to make the most of them because being consistent is hard. "But there is no hiding from it, I should score more goals. Hopefully more will follow."
