Top six, little chance

Wood say we need to finish as high as possible Coventry City defender Richard Wood has played down any chance the Sky Blues might have had of a top six finish and a pay off spot. With Coventry City 12th in the table and 9 points adrift of the last play off spot with and only six games left of the season, a late push is still mathematically possible, but unlikely, especially as they have now gone five games without a win. Wood told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, "It's going to be difficult but we want to finish as high as we can now, Last season, in the last eight games I don't think Coventry won a game so we don't want that to happen again." Wood scored a late equaliser against his old club Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday to earn his team a point.
